Mid West Ports is calling for expressions of interest from community members to join its Community Consultation Committee (CCC). This forum brings together community and industry stakeholders to discuss port-related operations and business, fostering collaboration and informed decision-making.
The CCC plays a vital role in Mid West Ports’ efforts to provide a sustainable gateway for trade and tourism in the Mid West region. Through consultation, the Committee contributes valuable insights and perspectives, ensuring that Mid West Ports’ operations align with the needs and priorities of the community.
Mid West Ports is seeking an individual who is passionate about representing community interests and being a Mid West community liaison. Applicants should have a strong connection to the Mid West, an understanding of local priorities, and a commitment to fostering positive relationships between Mid West Ports, stakeholders and the broader community.
Mid West Ports CEO, Damian Tully said:
“The Community Consultation Committee is central to our commitment to transparency and collaboration. By working together, we aim to achieve outcomes that benefit both the community and industry while supporting sustainable growth in the region.”
This opportunity provides a platform for a community member to liaise community opinions when discussing future port operations and development in the Mid West.
Expressions of Interest are now open and close at 9am Monday 3 February 2025. For more information, to nominate someone or to apply, visit bit.ly/mwpaccc.
