With Mr Tully at the helm, Mid West Ports secured $350 million in funding for the PMaxP, a transformative initiative that will play a pivotal role in enabling emerging industries, welcoming new customers with a diverse product mix, and accommodating the significant growth forecasted for the Mid West region over the next decade.

Mr Noel Hart, Chair of the Mid West Ports Board, praised Mr Tully’s leadership and expressed confidence in his ability to steer the organisation through this critical period, "Damian has proven himself to be an outstanding leader during his time with Mid West Ports, and his reappointment as CEO ensures continuity at a time when the port is undergoing substantial development.

“The PMaxP is the largest project ever undertaken at Mid West Ports, and it is crucial that we maintain the same strong leadership as we move forward.

“Damian’s vision and commitment have been instrumental in securing the resources needed to bring this project to life. His steady hand will guide us through this exciting period of transformation." Mr Hart said.

Mr Tully expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to continue leading Mid West Ports during this pivotal time, "I am incredibly honoured to be reappointed as CEO of Mid West Ports. Working alongside a dedicated team and Board is incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to continuing our work together.

“The port is a community asset that supports our region’s prosperity.  It is extremely important to the people of the Mid West and to have the opportunity to drive its success is a privilege.

“I’m excited for what lies ahead and confident that we are well-positioned to navigate the challenges and opportunities that the future holds," Mr Tully said.
