Hosting an Event
To host an event at the Geraldton Fishing Boat Harbour, Shepherds Park or any property of Mid West Ports Authority, you will need to request and obtain permission.
At least 8 weeks prior to the proposed event date, you must submit the MWPA Public Event Approval form to [email protected], accompanied by the following:
- Event Management Plan;
- Risk Assessment and Emergency Management Plan; and
- Traffic Management Plan (If required).
The MWPA Communications Team will work with you to assess these documents and ultimately advise if the event can progress in your requested location.
It is the responsibility of the event organiser to ensure any event hosted on Mid West Ports Authority land abides by all state and local government requirements. For further information on what your obligations are in holding an event, visit www.cgg.wa.gov.au.
